Raider
3-Day Course

Where movement, mindset, and real capability begin

Raider is the point in the MVTS progression where students stop standing still and start moving with purpose. This three‑day course moves past the fundamentals established in Pathfinder and Scout, pushing students into tight timed shots, controlled movement, multi‑target engagements, and decision‑making under pressure. Raider is designed for those who want to move beyond static range work — students ready to develop real‑world capability.

By the end of the course, students will have a deeper understanding of how to move with purpose, maintain accuracy under time, and make sound decisions in dynamic situations. Raider is the bridge between foundational skill and advanced capability — the moment where training begins to feel real.

What you’ll learn

  • How to move with purpose: Understand movement, while maintaining control, awareness, and safe muzzle discipline
  • Timed accuracy under pressure: Develop consistent shot placement while meeting tight time standards and maintaining accountability for every round fired
  • Efficient Target Transitions: Learn how to drive your eyes first, then the gun, creating smooth, controlled transitions between multiple targets
  • Efficient Target Transitions: Drive your eyes first, then the gun, creating smooth, controlled transitions between multiple targets
  • Decision‑Making Under Pressure: Build the judgment to know when to shoot, when to pause, and how to solve dynamic problems with clarity and control

We welcome students with solid fundamentals from any legitimate training source. MVTS does not gatekeep this course behind our own classes. However, Raider is not suitable for those whose only experience comes from casual shooting or online videos. Students should arrive with real, hands‑on foundational training so they can safely progress into movement, pressure, and decision‑making.

Participants should be physically capable of moderate to intense activity, including controlled movement, kneeling, and positional changes. We work with you — not against you — but Raider is an active course.

Training Approach

Raider is a movement‑focused, performance‑driven course designed to build real capability through structured pressure.

Students begin with warm‑up drills to confirm fundamentals, then progress into movement, transitions, and timed standards that demand discipline and accountability.Instruction emphasizes
purposeful movement, visual processing, and decision‑making under pressure.

Students learn how to manage their environment, control their pace, and apply fundamentals while moving — a skillset that separates trained shooters from static‑range practitioners.Instructors work closely with each student, providing real‑time coaching, corrections, and performance cues.

The course culminates in a final movement‑based drill that ties together accuracy, speed, transitions, and decision‑making, giving students a clear demonstration of their growth.
